Emily Smith: I was in labor for 11 hours. I made it to eight centimeters before I had an epidural and was at a 10 within the hour. Pushed for half an hour and my daughter was born. The hard part came afterwards when I lost a lot of blood due to a part my placenta was still inside me and my doctor literally had to dig it out by manually err exploring my uterus. That and a second degree tear. It was worse than the labor.
