Arsenal Can’t rely on young Alex Iwobi to win titles -Arsene Wenger
Wenger says it's important to have the perfect mix of young talents and experienced players if they are to win titles at the end of the season.
"To be a real football player, you need to be 23 years old because you have learned your job, you can have a great game and after, sometimes an average game," Wenger said. "You can have one or two exceptional talents, like at the moment we have Hector Bellerin and Iwobi, but the core of the team has to be from 23 to 30. "If you look at the national teams, you never win a tournament with a young team, because it's more mental at some stage to win something big. "You need to have a certain level of experience."

Mikel: Japan’s Surgeon Cheque Yet to Clear
Super Eagles Captain/Chelsea Star, John Mikel Obi, has shed more light on the monetary gift made to Nigeria by Japanese plastic surgeon, Katsuya Takasu after the national Under-23 team won the bronze medal at Rio 2016.
Mikel admitted that the money had not been cashed two months after the Olympic Games.
Takasu travelled from Japan all to Belo Horizonte to present the monetary reward of $390,000 in total to the cash strapped team after they defeated Honduras 3-2 to cap their crisis riddled campaign with a bronze medal.
Mikel, who confirmed that the sum of $190,000 was paid into his account, told reporters that the cheque was yet to clear. The other installment of $200,000 was also transferred via the Dream Team VI Chief Coach, Samson Siasia.
The Chelsea midfielder, who spoke on the eve of Eagles’ departure to Ndola for a World Cup qualifying match against Zambia, said that there have been some glitches in cashing the cheque, even as he assured that the money had not caused any issues among the players.
He also joined issues with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) which questioned the propriety of the team to receive the money. He insisted it was a gift to the team and nothing unusual about it.
“I don’t see anything wrong in accepting the gift. We had a good tournament and we received a gift from someone. It was signed in my name and the coach’s name. The money is there, it is a cheque, no player saw cash, but it has not cleared yet”, Mikel said.
NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, had strongly objected the players receiving the money on the ground that it could make them prone to the influence of the notorious Asian betting syndicate.
The Senate Sports Committee led by Senator Obinna Ogba similarly objected to the players accepting the gift from Takasu.

Usain Bolt Girlfriend Reacts To Cheating Scandal On Her Twitter and Instagram Account
Usain Bolt main chick Kasi Bennett has reacted to the cheating scandal rocking the couple.
As of now all signs point to Bolt being a single man because he has been
spotted with at least half a dozen different chicks since concluding
his impressive Olympic races. So it’s safe to assume that Kasi Bennett
wasn’t really Usain Bolt girlfriend or worst case they split prior to
the Olympic Games.
Reacting to the damning reports, Kasi’s frustration can be seen on
social media judging from the photos that she liked on Instagram and
Twitter. Yesterday Kasi liked several photos on IG with one of them
being am meme of her and the 20-year-old Brazilian female that leaked
photos of herself and Bolt in bed.
“When your girl is Selfridges & you cheat on her with Primark,” the meme reads.
She also liked a tweet from one of Usain Bolt followers that reads,
“@usainbolt you traded your life with a #goddess, for a one night fling
with someone who will never even come close. I can’t.”

Iraqi national team publicly sacrifice sheep so that they can qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup (photos)
In order to qualify for the World Cup they decided to perform the most bizarre, fetish and strangest of practices on Tuesday
as they slaughtered a sheep publicly as a 'sacrifice to god' so that
luck and good will could befall them in their next home game against
Thailand- because according to the team, except God acts, it's
impossible for them to qualify for Russia 2018.
In 2011, Turkish team Sivasspor slaughtered a sheep before a game with a
Serbian team and won 4-1. In Iraq the practise is seen as an ancient
and trust worthy one.

Boxer Andrew Cancio gets completely naked for weigh-in... and accidentally shows the crowd everything (photos/video)
Instead of breaking a 'most knockouts' record or going on an epic boxing
win streak, American boxer Andrew Cancio accidentally flashed his
valuables at a crowd at the AT&T Stadium as he prepared for his bout
against Joseph Diaz Jr..
In boxing, while weighing prospective fighters, every weight matters so
Cancio was ordered to undress so he could be properly weighed while some
officials protected his modesty by shielding him with a curtain.Cancio
then posed for the crowd from behind the sheet before suddenly one of
his entourage drops the cover and he scrambles to cover his privates
with his hand while the crowd reacts by screaming. Watch the video after
the cut.

Racism row: Samuel Eto'o dropped by Club over his Instagram post about not being respected 'because he's black'
Cameroon football star and former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o has been
dropped by his club, Antalyaspor, after he claimed on social media that
people didn't respect him because of his skin colour. According to AFP,
the Turkish top flight said that Eto’o would be left out of the squad
until further notice in a bitter row over comments on social media.
Two days ago, the football star, who moved to Antalyaspor in June 2015
posted a screenshot image of his achievement, all the cups he has won,
along with a caption written in Turkish:
"Reminder – perhaps some people do not feel respect for me because I am black. But I am not going to come down from the level I have reached. I have been in this game for 18 years,"
The 35-year-old did not specify to whom he was targeting his criticism
but later posted another message insisting it was not directed at
Antalyaspor Chairman Ali Safak Ă–ztĂĽrk. But Antalyaspor said in a terse
statement on its website that a meeting of its board had decided to
leave Eto’o out of the squad until further notice.
Turkish commentators had interpreted the remarks of Eto’o as a response to apparent criticism by Ă–ztĂĽrk of his performance in the early season. The three-time Champions League winner has failed to lead his side to any kind of success with just one point from four matches

Shocked Jose Mourinho looks from his window as police handcuff thief who tried to break into his £25m home read more
Mourinho was watching TV when
the house maid screamed “What are you doing here?”as she saw the
burglar trying to get in a basement door.
He tried to flee but a security guard who had been tracking him blocked his path.
A
team of eight police officers dashed to the central London house and
led the intruder away in handcuffs as Manchester United manager Mourinho
and wife Matilde Faria watched from a window.
A
source told the Sun UK: “The prowler was trying not to be obvious but
he clearly did not fit in with such an upscale area. The guard saw him
trying all the house doors, leaning against them with his shoulder.
“He followed him on the opposite side of the road, using the cars for cover.
“He usually has a dog with him, but this time he did not.
“The
first open door the guy found was Jose’s basement gate. That’s not
unusual because his staff are in and out all the time and the basement
front door is often ajar.
“It was perfect
timing when the Portuguese maid screamed, ‘What are you doing here?’ —
because at that moment the security man blocked the getaway.
“The burglar was threatening to punch him but he stood his ground. With nowhere to go, the burglar just smoked a cigarette.
The Burglar was jailed for 4 weeks for attempted Burglary.

Team GB's Alistair Brownlee Wins Second Olympic Triathlon Gold
Great Britain's Alistair Brownlee has become the first person to successfully defend his Olympic triathlon title.
The athlete finished the 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride and 10km run six seconds ahead of younger sibling Jonny who took silver.
Jonny, 26, went one better than his performance in London 2012.
On Rio's Copacabana, the pair from Leeds finished comfortably clear of South Africa's bronze medallist Henri Schoeman.
They are the first brothers to finish one and two at an Olympics since Italian horse riders Piero and Raimondo D'Inzeo in Rome in 1960.
Meanwhile, Great Britain's Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark have won the women's sailing 470 class.
Team GB now has 21 golds at the Rio Games.
