A plane travelling from India has crash-landed at Dubai International Airport, according to the Dubai government media office.
Emirates airline has confirmed an "incident" at the airport.
Clouds of black smoke could be seen billowing from the plane on pictures posted to social media.
The aircraft was reportedly evacuated.
Authorities are working to ensure the safety of those on board, the Dubai government media office said on Twitter, earlier stating that no casualties had yet been reported.
The incident happened around 12.45pm local time.
