Kanye West hints he will release a collaborative album with Drake in the near future while performing at a gig in Canada.
Kanye West and Drake - two of hip-hop's biggest heavyweights - have suggested they will be joining forces for an album.
While performing on Monday at OVO Fest - an annual
festival hosted in Toronto, Canada, by Drake - West made a surprise
announcement.
He asked the crowd: "Toronto, I got one question for you. Is y'all ready for this album?"
Stopping the music, he added: "I wasn't talking about Pablo. I wasn't talking about Views. I wanna ask y'all right now: Are y'all ready for this album?"
He then pointed at Drake, who joined him on stage and pointed back.
Drake's reign on the UK singles chart finally came to an end at the weekend after the rapper's One Dance, which features collaborators WizKid and Kyla, held the number one spot for 15 consecutive weeks.
It was knocked off the top spot by Justin Bieber's new single, Cold Water, allowing Bryan Adams to retain his record of 16 consecutive weeks at number one.
Drake had hinted at a collaboration earlier this year, telling Zane Lowe on Beats 1 that he and West "were supposed to do a mixtape together, album together".
"Maybe we'll get that done," he added.
West, who has two children with wife Kim Kardashian, released his latest album The Life of Pablo in February, while Drake's Views has dominated the charts since its April release.
