name Norman Cook - revealed that he completed a song with Elba for the new movie in an interview on Tuesday (April 12), at the Snowbombing festival in Austria, where EIba also appeared. In Bastille Day, Elba stars as a CIA agent on an anti-terrorist mission in Paris and will also lend his vocals for the featured track. "I've just done something with Idris Elba for his next film, which is quite interesting," Cook revealed to NME. "I don't know if it's under wraps so I don't want to get in trouble by saying too much. It's called Bastille Day, and we've written a song together, and Idris sings on it which is fun." Idris Elba Talks Producing His Star-Studded New Album, His Most Embarrassing DJ Moment and Going 'Toe-to-Toe' With Biz Markie Elba is a fellow DJ himself who went by Big Driis in the early 2000s before retiring the moniker. Cook explained that they met after he saw Elba perform "many times" and that they share the same management which has led them to be billed together. They collaborated last year on a remix for Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's hit "Uptown Funk." No other information has been revealed about the mysterious track. When asked if there is other new Fatboy Slim music in store, Cook did say that he's been "messing around with some film stuff," but that DJing still takes up most of his time.
